Is it just me or is it ironic that we are reachable 24/7, but we have less face-to-face interaction than ever before? What happened to human contact? How is this affecting us?  What is the effect on the planet of this? (Although, I am going to put this out there, I do not think the use of cell phone’s is the cause of global warming, but I cam concerned with how technology is disposed of).  Have we become so efficient at communicating with each other that we have lost touch with social end of communication?

Is all this technology really making us better, or are we losing site of that fact that we are humans and that we are social beings? Facebook and MySpace are no replacements for human interaction, and neither is your cell phone. What happened to people actually spending time together?
