What is the deal with the long distance charges on mobile phones? 22 cents a min? Explain to me how this is different then using a land line for long distance? Land lines cost half, if not less. At least there are ways around this. You can always get a phone card, but its kinda a pain to type in 12 digits off the back of the card (espcially if u r driving). Of course you coudl use skype on the phone, but then you get raped on data charges. Ah you just can't win. I kinda complain like a flames fan :)

Ha Ha! Youâ??re lucky, I think my long distance charges me like 39 cents a mins or something completely ludicrous! But you can get around it if you have Rogers. I have all of my â??My Fiveâ?? friends are the people I call long distance and that only cost $15 a month. So if you use your cell phone exclusively it makes a big difference.
